WE ARE NOW RECRUITING: FINANCE LAWYERS | FINANCE TEAM IN HELSINKI
Hannes Snellman’s Finance Team is looking for new colleagues in Helsinki. The team is recognised as a pioneer in its field and has vast experience in advising clients on leveraged acquisitions, corporate lending, asset finance and securitisation, and restructurings, acting for financial sponsors, borrowers, and lenders.
Our lawyers work in teams with specialists from our other business areas, providing the multi-practice advice needed to complete even the most challenging transactions. Our Finance Team also advises clients on all aspects of banking and financial markets regulation. We advise local and international banks and other financial institutions on financial regulatory matters relating to licensing and registration issues, derivatives and other financial instruments, and various types of financial structures.
Markus Bremer, Head of Finance, describes the team as “a close-knit market-leading group of experts who work together in an ambitious but mutually supportive environment”.
What We Are Looking For
The Finance Team is looking for someone who has a genuine interest in finance and banking, is about to graduate, has recently graduated, or has a few years of experience, and has the ability to work both independently and as a member of the team in various different projects.
We do not require previous experience of handling finance- or transaction-related matters at a law firm or in the financial sector, but any experience in this area is considered a bonus.
Furthermore, an ideal candidate would be someone who has a passion for law, strives for premium quality, and pays attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in business are also essential qualities. Our work requires fluency in English and Finnish, and knowledge of other languages is also valued.

- unique and challenging projects and cases
- opportunity to work with some of the most interesting legal cases in the Nordic and international markets
- excellent training and development opportunities
