We are now looking for a Legal Counsel for a permanent position to Espoo
Our Legal and Compliance team manages Normet Group’s legal matters globally. We provide strategic and operative legal advice in order to mitigate risks, ensure legal compliance and good corporate governance. We believe in approachable culture, low hierarchy and giving responsibility to our professionals.
You will work on a broad range of legal matters and with different organizational levels internationally. Your tasks will include e.g. evaluating legal risks, working on legal compliance, drafting commercial contracts and corporate documents, providing general legal advice and working on corporate governance matters. In addition, you may work with commercial IP agreements, technology and/or data protection. Your detailed job description can be determined considering also your own interests and skills.
In order to succeed in in this role you need
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience from a law firm or as in-house counsel
- Experience in commercial contract/corporate document drafting and reviewing
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team
- Analytical, structured and systematic working methods
- Proactive and business-oriented approach to legal issues
- International mindset, good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English, other languages are seen as an advantage
