We, at Stark Suomi Oy, are looking for a Legal Trainee to join our team. The position is fixed term for four months and will provide an opportunity to work full time. Our offices are based in Espoo, within reach of excellent public transportation options. Stark Suomi Oy is a leading builders’ merchant in Finland, employing 1,000 employees with over EUR 600M of net sales.
In your traineeship, you will be working under the guidance and coaching of the company’s Head of Legal. Among the various tasks assisting the Head of Legal, you will have the opportunity to draft contracts, manage claims as well as work on several projects requiring a legal set of skills, such as managing the contract archive and ensuring that compliance themes are communicated efficiently. There will also be opportunities to work on tasks on an international level as Stark Suomi Oy is part of the leading builder’s merchant group, Stark Group, with operations in six European countries and EUR 5bn of net sales.
To be successful in this role, you are preferably at the final stretch of your studies and able to adapt to a generalist role. You are not required to have great expertise in any specific legal area, but we expect you to have an inquiring mind and willingness to take on any challenge, big or small with a positive, can-do attitude. You are also expected to be able to communicate in both Finnish and English.
