White & Case in Helsinki is recruiting two law students who are in the final stages of their studies to work as trainees during the term starting in January 2023. The trainee position is full-time.
Our trainee program offers law students an opportunity to gain experience and training in a global law firm. Typical assignments for trainees include legal research, legal translation, dealing with various governmental authorities, preparing and maintaining transaction data rooms, as well as drafting various transaction documents, memoranda and minutes. Our trainees work closely with our transaction teams and have full access to our internal trainings.
We want to recruit trainees with energy and enthusiasm - individuals who show initiative, adaptability and have the ability to work in teams but are not afraid of individual responsibility. We expect great communication and language skills from our trainees. Law students interested in the trainee position should have finished the majority of their studies to maximize their benefit from the trainee program. Further, having international experience is considered a clear advantage.
If you are interested in working on matters with a truly global outlook, the term of the trainee program begins on 3 January 2023 and runs until 12 May 2023. The application deadline for this term of our trainee program is 4 September 2022.
